Get to know Alistair

Having begun my working life in accountancy, I entered the world of Financial Services in 1990. My early career took me through the world of Bancassurance and two National IFA firms before I took the decision to launch my own business, Lifetime Financial Consulting Ltd, in 2004.

I have always believed that attaining high level qualifications is vital in order to demonstrate commitment to the work that we do.  I was therefore proud to attain Chartered Financial Planner Status in 2006.

After two eventful decades running Lifetime Financial Consulting Ltd, the opportunity recently presented itself to join forces with Wealth Matters, and work alongside a team of industry professionals who share my values and who, like myself, have a passion for our industry.

Developing long term relationships with clients has always been central to the work that we do, and this new chapter in my working life enables me to strengthen further these relationships with the additional resources now available to me.

In my spare time my wife and I enjoy travelling, the theatre and fine dining – either on our own or with friends. I also enjoy spending family time with my children and grandchildren, and as and when time permits in the future, I am hoping to improve my very average golf game. I also have the misfortune to be a long-suffering West Ham supporter.
